What is the cleanest sounding 12" SUBWOOFER available?
I'm looking at ordering a 12" sub from "Sonic Electronix." I am looking to spend roughly $200 on a sub. I only want one because, ha, well I can't afford two. I could car less about SPL. Most 12" subs hit plenty low enough for me. I am really concerned about SQ. I want a "clean" sounding subwoofer. I have slimmed it down to a few options. I was looking at the Boston Acoustics G5, the Memphis M3, or the JL Audio W3. They are all around $200. Can anyone pick out the cleanest sounding one out of those three? Or if possible, could anyone go on "Sonic Electronix," and give me anymore suggestions. Thank you.|||JL Audio will beat any thing with SQ it is built for SQ if i was you i would go for the W3 you won't be disappointed.|||I would take the Boston out of those options. They make really nice stuff for car and home|||I have 2 12 inch Alpine type Rs and there some of the cleanest 12s ive heard running them at about 400 RMS a sub..and they can even handle more. Kenwood subs are pretty tight..|||I would go with alpine type-R there clean sounding, and they hit really hard.
