2003 jeep wrangler subwoofer?

the stock woofer in my tj is shot i want to put in the 8" marine polk from sonic electronix can i do so with the stock components will it make a diffrence i want to order some stuff from quadratec but i dont have the funds right know is this an ok alternative any help greatly appreciated|||Just make sure it is the same size and OHM's and you should be fine.
