I am planning on getting two 12" kicker 10CVR-124's. I know Sonic Electronix recommends ported and sealed boxes, but would the bass sound in a bandpass enclosure?|||the enclosure for anything should be built for the environment in which you are placing it. in other words... you don't actually want to build the box for the sub... but for the vehicle you are putting it in. Ported, sealed, bandpass, 6th order, 4th order, transmission, horn... all are the most common boxes... again. performance will be based on the vehicle. example... a horn enclosure with two 8's could perform great in a honda civic.. the same box in an accord will have different acoustical properties, and sound quite different.
talk to a local car audio store about trying to get the enclosure that will work best in your car with the speakers you have. :)

Pulse Car Audio
www.pulsecaraudio.org|||you should do port. bandpass boxes tends to be very hard to build. and it ppls alot of trial and error to build and configure a bandpass box.|||For better sound quality go with the ported box, I wouldnt recommend a bandpass box, ported is better|||Would go with ported my self but its realy bout the same I belive banpass kinda takes away from over all I
