2 to 4 person sailboat?

I grew up sailing on a great little Boston Whaler sailboat and little on a Laser II. Can anyone tell me if there is a nice sailboat like these that is being made these days? Thanks.2 to 4 person sailboat?
A 2 person sailboat would be in the 16 foot and over range and a 4 person sailboat would be at LEAST in the 20 foot and over category. There are a lot of USED sailboats in that size range. Look in www.boattrader.com2 to 4 person sailboat?
there are still many small sailboats manufactured today, but the cost of building them is very high because of the high cost of fiberglass and epoxy. (petrochemicals),

my suggestion is to check out the popular sailing classes in your area as well as look at the bargains in the use sailboat market. there are many great small sailboats available like the 420, 470, lido 14, oday rebel, day sailor, rhodes 19, mariner, thistle, lightning, flying scott, snipe, catalina 15, etc.

you may want to look at smaller racer/cruisers in the 19 to 23' range with swing keels that are trailerable like the san juan 21,23, catalina 22, oday 20, 23. smaller hunters, spindrift 22. etc. they can handle a crew of 2 to 4 and have limited sleeping/cooking facilities plus able to carry a porta pot.

another option is to build your own sailboat.

hope this helps2 to 4 person sailboat?
Walker Bay makes a little dinghy that you can add their sail kit too to make a small sail boat.
