Proline vs Grady white?

Looking at two boats: a 2006 23' walk-around with cuddy cabin proline with a suzuki 200 hp four stroke with warranty till 11'. Got all the bells and whistles imaginable. Even a head (porta potti) for the ladies. It costs about 26k out the door. The next choice is a 2008 grady white 180 sportsman (18' center console) with a 150 hp yamaha four stroke that also has many nice features along with warranty till 11' no head though. Out the door, this one is 30.5k. Will be selling a roughly 17' palm beach center console boat. Plan on keeping the boat for a 5-10+ yrs to one day get a Boston Whaler. I understand GW are better, but it won't be the last because in about 5-10 years, I may be interested in a boston whaler, that is one reason I am leaning toward the proline. The boat will be used by a family of four that likes to fish and entertain friends and family. Any suggestions between these two would be welcomed, Thanks in advance!!!

Simple, if you want to take the family out, get the boat with the head in it. Using a bucket for the ladies does not last! Both boats are good, as are the engines. You get more for your money, better equipped, and in 5 years you will be looking at something else.Proline vs Grady white?
Tough call. Grady White is the better boat, but Suzuki is the better motor. If you plan on over-nighting, the Proline , but the GW will be a more fun ride, and better to fish out of. I would probably take the GW, but it would be nice if it had a Suzuki or Merc Verado hanging on it.Proline vs Grady white?
2 completely different boats 4+ people in a 18 ' boats is cramped. Proline is not the best buy. Grady white never impressed me.If your want a fishing boat or a cabin boat Heads can be on center console but tight fit.Keep looking around as there are great buys try and cover all your needs and then work on the price with them.Boston Whaler will beat you to death as they are hard riding. Low sides. Unless it's in the 25' and above.
Grady is a better know and today built boat. But you are looking for a boat for the WIFE and kids. The Walk-around cuddy with a porta-potti will make staying out on the water more fun for them. So for the family and all around fun on the water go with the ProLine. Not a bad price.

I have a 23' Pro-Line and I love it. It replaced a 17 Center console Pro-Line. This boat has fished the Chesapeake Bay and off shore out of Indian River DE and Ocean City MD.

I have friends that have Grady's and I have worked on them. If you where going to be getting the boat for you and a friend to fish out of the 18' Grady CC would be great.

Good Luck - Boat Safe!
