I got what I paid for and it works just fine. Sony xplod xm-gtx6040 4 channel 600 peak 300 rms with 2 kenwood 10" subs. Thing is make sure you amp is 2 ohm stable for a single 12" sub, because it will overheat the amp and burn it out faster. I had a 12" Fusion sub before the kenwoods and the amp was getting hot. I now listen to it and does not get that hot with two subs. Plus to use 4 ohm bridge you need a DVC sub that is 2 ohm by 2 ohm to make it 4 ohm bridged. Yours is DVC 4 ohm by 4 ohm which you would need a 2 ohm stable amp.
If You are just running that one sub the amp you want is A 400 watt mono Amp

Although you Can probley Get a 4 channel Sony explode amp For Cheaper And It will Be better cause you can upgrade to more speaker later down the road

Your going to Need a wiring kit to just so you know.

Money is an issue?

You don't NEED an amp then.

Seriously, what sense does that make? You're short on cash, but looking to blow it on a car part that it doesn't NEED anyway.
Kicker zx400.1 is perfect. They are pretty cheap too.

Dont go too cheap, remember, you get what you pay for! What amp do i need??money is an issue?
Youll want an amp that is 400 RMS at 2 ohms.

Kicker makes one.
