I would find a amp that has the specs to match that sub. If you only going with the one sub then you dont need but a 400 to 500 watt amp. Look for a monoblock or class d amp that has a rating of 500 watt x 1 @ 2 ohms. That sub is 2 ohms so you need a amp that has a output of 400 to 500 watt at 2 ohms.

As far as brands ,use any brand that is CEA compliant.

Some brands that are cea compliant are pioneer, rockford fosgate, kicker, soundstream, elemental designs, infinity,ALPINE and many more brands out there. They will state it on the amp.Need to find an amp for this sub!?

Perhaps pioneer's amp here:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130GMD750M/鈥?/a>

It's a mono car amplifier
200 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

the most important part is 400 watts RMS x1 at 2ohms....
which is exactly what you need.

Actually cheaper here:

And same place from where you are ordering your sub.

EDIT:
400watts RMS is your RMS power....not 500...
Peak is when you turn your subs up to maximum level, and your subs won't pull that much power at one time.
On a burst (Burp as the bassologists would say) of power....when your bass hits....you MIGHT get it to take 1200 or 1500 watts...but that's a BS number....don't follow it...Follow the RMS numbers ALWAYS!
