Cost of Boat Painting?

Around how much would it cost to have a 17' Boston Whaler hull professionally touched up (several minor repairs) and painted using good paint?

What would the price difference be to have it re-gel coated.Cost of Boat Painting?
If you are going to have it painted the cost should be around 2,000 not including the bottom of the boat. Make sure you use a good quality paint, like sunfire from sherwin-williams (this is what I would personally use) or Imron it is a good quality paint but doesn't hold out on the gloss as well as sunfire. If you go with gelcoat. This is the best way to go if you have somebody do it that is experienced. That should cost around 3,000 not including the very bottom of the boat and may be a little extra depending on how bad the damage is you mentioned.

.Cost of Boat Painting?
Not sure on the price of Gel coat but I Painted my boat with a Polyurethane (Imron) about 5 years ago and its holding up great. I am a painter (automotive) by trade and My guestimate without seeing the boat %26amp; repairs you mentioned is approx $1800-2500.
