I saw what I believe to be a 13'4" Boston Whaler Standard boat in good condition with a fairly new 15 HP Johnson outboard engine on it for sale. The owners wanted $2900 for it and were also including a trailer for the boat (which I do not have). A friend of mine said that if the boat has been there for a few days and hasn't sold yet, then it is probably overpriced. I'm wondering, do you think this is a good deal or is it more than the boat is worth? Is it a good deal?
YEAR ???? WE NEED THE YEAR ???? The boat trader web sites don't give the right price for the boat, it's worth a little bit more because, a "Boston Whaler" is a desirable boat, therefore it commands a price a bit higher than www.nada.com
look at boat trader on line and check out what people are selling them for....
If a boats been their a few days ,,,,, it doesnt mean anything... a few mionths may be...Is it a good deal?
If it's a 2007 model, it's a good deal. If it's a 1987 model, not such a good deal.
The 13' Boston is a great little boat, and if in good condition, worth the asking price. I've seen them with wheel steering and 40 horse motors. They have to be hell for stout to take that kind of power. The 15 Johnson is adequate-not ideal. One thing for sure, the Boston will hold it's value if you take care of it.Is it a good deal?
Year? If its newer than 2000 than its a bargain.
