SUBWOOFER HELP NEEDED?

Alright well to start off I have an 01 deville, with two orion hp 12`s with an orion hcca 2400d amp in a ported box. It pounds pretty hard but I want to upgrade but not looking into spending a fortune.

Some Ideas

Use the two 12`s I already have buy one more, Buy a triple ported enclosure and wired them down to an Orion Hcca 5000d amp.

I want to use the orion d5000 amp because Its only 600dollars on sonic electronics and relativly 2500-2700 watts at one ohm. ( best amp for the money)

So Im def wanna use that amp, either powering one fi btl 18 fully loaded, or just buying one more 12 hp and the triple ported box off sonic electronix.

Im guessin the three 12`s would be louder than the single 18btl. but any ideas or suggestions are neededSUBWOOFER HELP NEEDED?
Get the most out of your subs with a better box

Considering that there aren't any prefab enclosures for 18" woofers, you would probably have to have an enclosure built for the BTL. Enclosures that are built by professionals will beat any prefab box, so, I wouldn't be surprised if the BTL was louder then the prefab triple 12 enclosure.

That being said, the 3 12's in an enclosure built by a pro would KNOCK - plus you'd have the wow factor when you show the 3 subs - so that gets my vote.

Also, be sure your electrical system can support the d5000.

Good luck
